Tanzania Goes MUD! Earth Architecture Workshop offers an educational experience through an immersive, collaborative design build project. The workshop challenges the participants to interact creatively and physically for crossfertilization of ideas and skills.
PARTICIPATION
Everybody can participate!
Architecture students, architects, sustainable practitioners and volunteers from around the world. Students can use the opportunity for internship, thesis or personal research.
VENUE
Our project site is the Kibaoni village in the Rombo District, situated at the Eastern slope of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, region recognized world-wide for its breathtaking natural beauty. Rural context offers adventurous, challenging living conditions.
DATE
Join us at anytime between 8.July and 25.September 2016 to build and reinvent the traditional mud hut together. Minimum participation of 2 weeks.
COSTS
– PARTICIPATION: 250€ (Flight costs are not included).
– FOOD + ACCOMMODATION: 80€/w (it is possible for people to cope themselves with food, for buy and cook, and tents to sleep)
